PositiveID Corporation Enters Into Strategic Alliance with Innovations Avocare, LLC, Serving Florida's Regional Health Information Organizations and Over One Million Patients

Alliance to foster interoperability between PositiveID's Health Link and medical facilities' electronic medical records

DELRAY BEACH, FL – November 30, 2009 – PositiveID Corporation ("PositiveID" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: PSID) announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Innovations Avocare, LLC ("Avocare"), to develop, implement, distribute and use PositiveID's Health Link personal health record ("Health Link") within the medical facilities, physician networks and related healthcare providers participating in the State of Florida regional health information organizations ("RHIO"). PositiveID and Avocare will also work together to advance the interoperability of Health Link with the Electronic Medical Record systems utilized in the RHIOs throughout the State of Florida, thereby integrating Health Link with medical facilities and healthcare providers serving over one million patients.

Avocare connects healthcare within a community through the Regional Health Information Networks ("RHIN"), a hardware and software system that brings medical information together through a secure Physicians Portal website. The mission of the Physicians Portal is to offer a more efficient, private and secure replacement to paper, fax and phone communications between health care providers. Avocare offers its products and services to various RHIOs within the State of Florida including, but not limited to, Big Bend Regional Healthcare Information Organization, North East Florida Regional Health Organization, Inc., Tampa Bay Regional Health Information Organization, Sun Coast Regional Health Information Organization and the Health Network of the Palm Beaches.
